WHAT ARE ECE VEHICLE REGULATIONS?
The Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) seeks to establish a common set of rules governing vehicle design. All automobile parts and vehicles sold in the European Economic Area must bear the e-Mark, which is a requirement for ECE-compliant vehicles (EEA). Automotive distributors and manufacturers can freely sell their goods inside the EEA by applying the e-Mark to a product.

We have been selected by the Vietnamese government to conduct national type approval testing for self-propelled working machinery that does not fall under one of these vehicle categories. Additionally, we are authorized to conduct conformity of production (CoP) clearance testing and inspection by the Vietnam type approval authority. This lowers the cost of homologation, especially for producers outside the EU.
THE E-MARK CERTIFICATION PROCESS
The performance of the product and the testing facility must be thoroughly evaluated in order to receive the e-Mark. The EU/ECE type clearance process can be complicated, so having a technical service staff that is independent from you can help you at every stage and make sure nothing is missed. Applicants will receive a type approval certificate when all technical documents, the test report, and the conformance of production clearance have been completed and approved. The type approval mark may then be applied by manufacturers to their conforming parts, and certificates of conformity (CoC) may be issued for vehicles utilizing those parts.
