The “Opinion Collection Seminar on the Draft Circular on Technical Regulations for Measurement, Reporting and Verification of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction and Greenhouse Gas Inventory in the Industry and Trade Sectors” was a September 14, 2023, Hanoi event organized by the Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) of Vietnam, in collaboration with the Climate Change Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The seminar’s goal was to examine the contents of the aforementioned Draft Circular, which was released on September 6, 2023, with ministries, businesses, and experts (henceforth referred to as “the Draft”).
