In France, all the new vehicles must obtain WVTA (Whole Vehicle Type Approval) before entering the market. As a member state of EC (European Commission), France accepts WVTA according to 2007/46/EC Directive Meanwhile, manufactures can follow French national scheme to apply for national individual and small series type approvals.
